SACRAMENTO - Assemblymember Kevin McCarty (D – Sacramento) honored Tamaira “Miss Tee” Sandifer as the Assembly District 7 2022 Woman of The Year during California’s Day of Dance.
“Miss Tee represents Sacramento through and through,” said Assemblymember McCarty. “Her determination, heart, and mentorship have been pivotal in molding the minds of many of our youth.”
Miss Tee is the CEO and founder of Studio Tee Arts and Entertainment where she teaches her students not only how to dance, but how to become entrepreneurs by tapping into their creativity and using various media tools to create and promote content.
“It is a tremendous honor to receive such a kind recognition from Assemblymember McCarty, his team, and the Legislative Women's Caucus,” said Sandifer. “As my team and I continue to grow in excellence of service, this recognition serves as a celebratory marker in our company's history, memorializing the shift from a local urban dance academy into a national nonprofit that continues to transform lives.”
