(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Kevin McCarty (D-Sacramento) says the Governor and Assembly Democrats have similar goals and plans and agree, for the most part, on how to reach those goals. Assemblymember McCarty made his comments following Governor Jerry Brown's annual State of the State address to a joint session of the State Legislature. Assemblymember McCarty said, "I liked the talk about making sure we continue to invest in education from pre-school all the way through higher education."
